[iPhone3G] If 1st Gen (AT&T legit or not) gets broken will they give a 3G one ?
Well, i have been thinking that maybe all you have to do is wait until the new iPhones are released and some how break or damage your first gen iPhone to the point where it doesnt look like its your fault, but a factory defect, and try get a new one if your still under factory warranty at your local genius bar and since they wont have any first gen iPhones left you'll prolly have to pay $100 bucks and they'll give you a 2nd gen one.
See a while back my iPhone had a screen defect, and i removed my T-mobile sim, and restored my iPhone, went to the Genius bar and told him, 'Hey my girlfriends iPhone is broken, can you see if it can be replaced?' He looked at it, said, 'Sure' and when he was giving me the new one, he asked me for the SIM card, and i told him that i did not have it, as my g/f removed it and put it in her other old AT&T phone until i got hers fixed. He said ok, and told me that she could reactivate it at home.
I ran outta there and jailbroke it and here i am, with a brand new iPhone.
