iPhone 3G 16GB 2.2.1 No Signal / No Service

i have an iPhone with baseband 2.30.03 and bootloader 5.9, i've tried QuickPwn, i've tried activating it trough iTunes, i've tried restoring it with a new firmware, i've tried downgrading to 2.2 and then restoring to 2.2.1 and nothing seems to work, I still get the no service / no signal

Any help would REALLY be appreciated!

Baseband 20.30.03 cant be unlocked via Yellowsn0w. Cause you got BL 5.9 you cant downgrade the baseband.
For now you're stuck, I'd wait until firmware 3 is officially available and then frequently check the forum here and Dev-Team Blog

Wasn't there a patch available for those who mistakenly upgraded their baseband?

Dann, is this a Rogers phone with a Rogers sim?

Sorry, this is a running gag here

Only those with a 5.8 Bootloader (sometimes referred to as 5.0.8) are able to use Fuzzyband Downgrader (on cydia). Only the very first iPhones 3G came with this bootloader - only a few ppl may be lucky.
