Re: how to off the recovery mode
When did you upgrade the iPhone via iTunes? Since Wednesday?
If so you have likely upgraded to a version that can't be unlocked.
You can most likely get your iPhone to boot via iRecovery or jailbreaking again via redsn0w 0.9.2 but your unlock is likely permanantly lost.
Post more details. ITunes version. iTunes restore log (via pastebin) and we can be sure.
Don't try restoring it again.

permanent?? meaning...
The iTunes version is not so important. What is important is to avoid upgrading to iPhone OS 3.1.3
~/Library/Logs/iPhone Updater Logs/ on mac
%Appdata%\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Updater Logs\ on windows
open the most recent log file and copy/paste the contents into a new http://pastebin.com entry (they are too long/big to post in this thread) then reply here with a link to the pastebin log file.
This will tell us what version of the iPhone OS you last restored or updated to. Then we can give you some better advice.
