i have a friend that have a 3G and he wanted to unlock it. but he upgraded to 3.1.3, is there any unlock for that ? or it's the same with 3GS ?

yes it is the same as 3GS - no unlock for 3.1.3 til June/July - Jailbreak is possible (so can use as iPod touch) but not unlock.Quote:
