[3G][2.1]White Screen?
Ok.. so a few days ago I was needing my address (I just moved) so I opened the notes, wrote it down and relocked it (no going to the SB or anything)
next day I pocket my phone, drive to school and put in my headphones. Unlock it and try to go to the home screen. I double press home and it brings up my favorites. I press the play/pause thing on the headphones and music starts. Also if I pessed home it brought up an ipod display that had Next/Last tracks Play/pause, the track name a close buttona nd an ipod button. Pressing ipod took me to my ipod app and pressing close did nothing but leave me where I was.
So I tried to take a screenshot, screen flashed white and stayed white. Locked the screen and turned back on, was still white. Not even a slide to unlock, but if I swiped my finger where it SHOULD have been I heard the unlock "click".
I did a hard reset (HOME+Power for a while) and it booted normally and it works fine now, thing I'm asking - should I be alarmed? Do you think this is a one time fluke, or will it happen again?

I've got the same thing happening. I had it happen on my 2g a while back and have not had it on my 3g yet but it's happening now. I managed to get past this by entering DFU mode last time. I forget how to do it now but googling it should find an answer. I'm gonna try now.

It happened to me once. Well, not exactly the same thing, but I had the screen Stuck at a page.
Nothing to be alarmed about.
If it keeps happening again and again, just Restore your phone. if it happens even after the Restore, you may want to RMA the phone.
