[Pricing] Apple's price plan?
So remember that the original iphone's original price was something like 600 right? The 3G's no commitment price is also 600. The original iphone's price eventually dropped to 400. What makes us think the new one won't do the same? Going with the no commitment option appears to be basically the same as buying the original iphone.

Two things wrong with that...
A.) $600 is absurd even if it is no commitment (even if it is the same as the original iPhone starting price)
B.) I doubt the phone will drop in price as much as the original iPhone since not only was Apple bashed on for dropping the price so greatly from the people who bought it early, but also the iPhone 3G is $200 so if the price approaches $200 then most people would forget about AT&T and just buy the no-commimment
All-in-all, I just can't see the no-commitment price to drop, but I can be wrong.

I spoke with someone from AT&T the other day because i wanted to get some information about the iphone.
From what was said to me is that the phone will cost $499 for the 16gig out right and $399 for the 8gig.
She also said that for people who bought the first generation iphone could return it to the Apple store, but there is a cut off time as to when you purchased it and ALSO A 10% Restocking FEE.
I can tell you this AT&T and Apple are not on the same page. i spoke with both. They all have given me a few different answers.
