PDF Viewing Problems
My iphone 3g 2.2.1 custom firmware has problems viewing pdf files.
i used to be able to view and scroll through pdfs no problem. but now the pdf loads but as soon as I try to scroll through it the viewer crashes.
its not the size of the pdf because i used to be able to use it (anyway they are about 38kb)
i use air sharing but the same problem happen when using the iphone pdf reader via my emails.
i have restored my firmware but still the same thing happens.
i dont know what has caused it.
if anyone knows what to do then this is the place help me pls

I seem to be having the same problem as you right now. Any pdf files crashes when i touch the screen, be it in my e-mail app or an external pdf app.
Maybe we could list down all the apps installed in our iPhones to try and eliminate which app is causing the crash? I can only think that an app is causing the crash.
Let me know if you're keen on this idea.

nope. nothing to do with the jailbreak. my girl's iphone 3g is jailbroken using the same and her iphone has no probs reading pdf files. mine has tons of apps more then hers, and that's why i can only think that some app installed is causing the crash...

Iīm having the same problem. Suddenly happend, noticed it a few days ago. I havenīt installed an app for quite some time, but there were some updates in cydia I installed, maybe itīs got something to do with them?
Help would be appreciated.
EDIT: haptic pro is the culprit! Removed it, pdf works fine now. The whole phone seems snappier, that app seems to be a terrible ressource hog. Shouldn't have bought it I guessed
