O2 to release iPhone 3G on PAYG in UK Sept 16
O2 UK website says iPhone pay-as-you-go will be released in the UK on September 16 for £349.99 for 8GB and £399.99 for 16GB

I reckon will just work with a PAYG o2 sim.
