no wifi after JB and unlock baseband 06.15.00 iphone 3g
i unlocked and JB my iphone 3g upgraded OS to 4.2.1. Everything went just fine. The phone cannot connect to wifi. The mac address shows up fine. Its not showing the wireless connections that are available. Please help.

thats how its gonna stay until someone decides to fix it, I did the same thing and everyone who did have to suffer the consequences as far as I know this is a hardware problem I'm not sure whether or not its possible to get wifi to start working again but I hope its possible, but then again anything is possible someone just needs to work on it.

What baseband? As I keep on saying in other threads about wifi - a syslog of the iPhone startup helps a lot with diagnosis.
That you can see mac address rules out some causes.

Hello, I have same problem at 3G BB 06.15.00 and iOS 4.1/4.2.1. I've turn on verbose boot and see wifi mac address at syslog when device starts.

Syslog sbsettings toggle. This writes to a file - location
/var/log/syslog

I don't see any known hardware problem in that syslog.
Have you got OpenSSH installed?
