i think, he tried to unlock it by programms for 1st gen iphone

anybody have ideas how to fix it?

Well, the 3G can't be unlocked, only activated by jailbreaking it. That's why nothing's working, cause it's not unlocked.

Did you try restoring it in DFU mode? Or maybe wait for the next software update and hope it gets fixed...

Restore in DFU, this should restore the modem firmware too. I think no 1st gen unlock program can damage your iphone serious because you dont have full baseband access on 3G.

flashed all available firmwares, pwned customs and originals
itunes gives a variety of errors, often 1010, 1600, 21

He's saying it's an American 3G, which means it can't be unlocked.
Leskov_artem: did you activate it or what? You know you can't unlock it right? I think that's the problem.

i want to repair wifi, bluetooth and phone for using with proxysim
by the way, iphone reboots itself every 10 minutes with message "need to repair" and booting very long

You can definately just DFU Flash it.

Flash it to a stock 2.1 Firmware, and then Quickpwn it.

If you getting the 16** errors, your not in DFU mode.

I have almost the same problem with my Iphone 3G 8GB. In my iphone there is no IMEI but i have bluetooth and WiFi. Ive learned that when you update or restore your Iphone by pwned firmwares is a chance to corrupt your iphone baseband and then you will have no imei. Now we need software thats erases the baseband firmware and to put new firmware by restoring. For this we will need to wait quite a bit. At the moment there is no software that can erase baseband. Only solution for the moment is to return to Apple store for replacement, hopefully they will replace it.

Does any knows how to fix baseband in 3g ?
in first-gen was many utils so change and interact with the baseband, but didn't found too much for 3g.

I tried to install minicom but can't initialize the tty.debug

Anybody ?
