    so i want to be able to connect to these 2 APN together without always edit the APN setting and change between the two apns

    You can open the carrier.plist file inside the carrier bundle your iPhone is using and add another entry for APN. iPhone must be Jailbroken and have OpenSSH installed to do so.

    It is a bit more complicated cause on Windows you need an editor that does not screw up the binary structure of the plist file.
    Member Jim Danner has posted a solution for Windows here
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/f127...htm#post353915

    Once you opened the file you'll see a section

    Code:
    	<key>apns</key>
    	<array>
    		<dict>
    			<key>apn</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn</string>
    			<key>password</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn_password</string>
    			<key>username</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn_username</string>
    		</dict>
    	</array>
    Use copy/paste/edit to make it look like this

    Code:
    	<key>apns</key>
    	<array>
    		<dict>
    			<key>apn</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn</string>
    			<key>password</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn_password</string>
    			<key>username</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn_username</string>
    		</dict>
    		<dict>
    			<key>apn</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn2</string>
    			<key>password</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn_password2</string>
    			<key>username</key>
    			<string>here_goes_your_apn_username</string>
    		</dict>
    	</array>
    Fill in your APN(s)..., save and replace the file on the iPhone. make sure to have an original carrier.plist on your PC just in case you screw up.

    Good luck,
    v.

    It is standard in lots of carrier bundles Apple provides. it has to be supported by the carrier and the iPhone has to pick the correct bundle.

    Hi,
    I've tried to add a second apn to the carrier.plist, but no success. I'll need a seperate apn for orange mobile email. The entry is shown in the carrier.plist but its not recognized by the phone. I know how to change the apn, but is there any possibility to set one apn for web and another one for email at the same time. If anybody knows - please help
    thank you
    kind regards
