hi everyone..

i am just wondering what options i have....

i have recondition 3g 16gb thst has been playing up the last few weeks, some times it wont turn on... and some time after its been on charging over night its turned off...and wont turn on, just a blank screen....but then fires up when it feels like it

then one morning it wont turn on at all.... so i take it into my local apple store, where the sales man takes a look. and informs me its got liquid damage. and implies i have damaged it myself, which i can assure him that it has not been in contact with any kind of water/liquid what so ever.

he tell's me he know's this by the red dot in the charging port...so...

i continue to argue with him saying well i know 100% that it has not been incontact with liquid and that its a recon unit, and it must have been damaged before it was given to me under exchange, but he says its not possible..

if this is the case, would sweat or syliva from my mouth, and being in my pocket and general use cause it, and do apple have genuine grounds to turn me down for a faulty claim replacment.

is it worth me try to take this further, or making a complaint to some one else... if so who and how?

well i am not sure about any legal issues you can fight, but try taking some very high quality paint, and paint over the dot, then try at another apple store, theres a last chance effort if your up for it.
