    Default ipod database fix/delete

Hi, I am having trouble connecting to itunes after trying to add music thru sharepod. everything was working fine, I just backed-up and synced my apps thru itunes in the past few days. Then tried to add some music and got errors. So i went into iphone browser and tried to delete those files. Now I still see them in the ipod app, but obviously they won't play.

Since I don;t have any music in there anyway, is there a way to delete the database for music files (i'm not sure where i would even find it)? Would a restore fix this?

iphone 3g, 3.1.3, ultrasnow unlock, cydia,

A restore may fix it, but an easier solution would be to plug into iTunes, tell iTunes to NOT sync music to the device, then click OK to the prompt that doing so will wipe all of the music from your device. Once it has done that, unplug, verify that all of the music is gone on the phone -- any straggler MP3s/etc. you will want to delete. Once that's done, tell iTunes to sync your music again, and it will rebuild the music library on the device.
