Can anyone tell me what is the best combination of software and hardware to be able to use an iPhone 3G to monitor a security system?

My friend has an ELK security system made up of motion sensors and door and window opening sensors, accessible only by PC, and a DVR system with 4 h264 cameras also only accessible by PC

how can this be intergrated into a system controllable from an iPhone

or

what other equipment could be used that would fulfill the same primary functions

1. iphone can monitor the 4 cameras
2. iphone receives email/text message when a motion sensor, or opend door/window sensor is triggered
3. an image at the time of the zone violation is emailed/text messaged
4. iphone can review the video of the events at the time the zone was triggered, to determine if there is an intruder or a false alarm

it would also be nice to be able to pan, tilt, and zoom

I see so many apps that claim to do some of the things above, but none seem to work with my current systems..

Any suggestions on what equipment makes up a complete iPhone and Macintosh compatible system would be very much appreciated

I tried Virtual PC, and it is really unsatisfying, but worse is having no iPhone access

Might want to check out GeoVision as I know they are well known and relied on as the top choice in security systems.
