    Default iPhone in Spain via Telefonica / Movistar?

    Here is my situation. My wife is from Euro and her immediate family is in Spain. She is going there tomorrow to spend a couple of months there and I am going in September for a few weeks then we are coming back.

    We both have iPhone 3Gs and they are unlocked with ultrasn0w. We do have AT&T but have confirmed they work with T-Mobile, which of course 3G disabled.

    I know Telefonica (Movistar) is the provider for Apple in Spain. My question is this. Can someone tell me what plan she needs to have through Movistar to have unlimited data? Looking at their site and trying to translate it to English I am seeing diffrent plans ranging from 15 Euros to 45 Euros per month. I think the 45 Euro plan is for tethering while the 15 Euro plan isnít unlimited while it looks like a 25 Euro plan is unlimited. She understands Spanish but isnít with me right now and may be confusedon how all the plans work so I want to see if anyone else could help us out.

    Thanks!

    You could just ask for a SIM card and ask them to set it up as a PAY as you go phone....

    that way you will not get locked in a long term account and you only use the data when you would like. With these types of accounts you use it just as a regular phone...when you need to make calls and when you need info (data)

    recap ...no long term contract...so when you come back you will not have to pay for a service you do not use.
    iPhone 1.0.2 OTB->Virginized->1.1.4 FW->Winpwn FW 2.0.1 Quickpwn 2.0.1 to FW 2.2.1->RedsnOw->3.0 FW itunes3.0.1FW->RedsnOw 8 to unlock->RedSnow 0.9.2 upgrade to 3.1.2->iPhone 2g 3.1.2 and as of July 30th,2010->iPhone 4-32GB & iPhone 4-16Gb->Unlocked

    Can someone give me a thumbs up click on Reputation ...thanks

    There isn't an unlimited data plan, ther were 2 options, 15Ä for 250mb or Ä25 for 1gb, but with the launch of the 3GS they have introduced a third... Ä39 for 3GB...
