Does it show a 'slide for emergency' ? If not, you're in recovery mode, try this iRecovery: Get Out iPhone from Recovery Mode Loop on Restart | iPhone

Use redns0w to jailbreak and hacktivate.
What kind of data are you hoping to save? If the phone is not activated, it probably was restored recently and no data is in the phone.Last edited by element; 07-10-2010 at 04:31 AM. Reason: forgot I was in 3G section
