    if you can get your hand on one without activating with at&t, then yea you can. but good luck getting one cause most likely they're forcing you to sign the dotted line before you walk out the store.. unless some of these rumors are true that apple stores aren't doing this because they're not a phone service provider.

    They're not a phone service provider, but if they can earn a $xxx subsidy from AT&T by having the customer sign a dotted line, I'm sure they will.
