He's just lucky he didn't get perma-banned. As for the rest of you, I suggest you get your priorities straight.

Dude, seriously, what the fuck. I know you are trying to help, and beileve me, that is great, but the people who can actually make use of this and do something with it, already in fact, have it. Thanks for trying to help but please email or PM (on IRC, not here, don't get them in trouble) someone that knows what they are doing so that you don't make things easier for apple.
Everyone, getting the 3G baseband firmware is no use if you plan to try it on an iPhone1. The only use for it is reversing it.

Instead of cancelling it, would you mind letting the other people who have the skills to deal with it have a look? Thanks
I think those are pretty big news, as at least now there is something to work on
Edit: oops... it looks like its copyrighted...well....if you guys want it and you do not know where to get it, just pm me
I deleted your thread.
I also sent you a message to explain what you did wrong.
This forum is for discussion / helping / sharing ideas, NOT a place for you to get everyone else in trouble by posting links to copyrighted material.
The rule is this forum is clear.
As much as I hate to delete thread, in this case, it's a major violation.

Is it the same as the firmware we load on the iPhone by using iTunes?
If you are asking that, you don't need this firmware.

There is nothing wrong with distributing official Apple firmware (as long its not modified in anyway).
Dude, there is no way in hell Apple would give Dev Center people stuff like this. That's why when you decrypt the developer firmware, it is something like BigBear5A331.M86OS, M86ap is the model number of the iPhone1, so that means it only contains the iPhone1 firmware. This guy somehow got ahold of the BigBear5A3**.CarrierOS firmware, which he should not have gotten if he was going to leak it, since it is watermarked, but that is a special firmware only given to carriers like AT&T and Vodafone for field testing purposes. Again, this stuff serves no use to the average user, not even the .ipsw since it sends all of your personal info to Apple for diagnostic purposes.
