Default [iPhone 3G] Using SIM card in AT&T wireless laptop PC card?

Would using the sim card from the iphone 3g in a pc card for my laptop work and let me browse unlimited internet through my laptop on at&t's 3g service? Or would I have to sign up for some extra service to be able to do this or would the one that comes with the phone work?

    Default

It works the other way around for me. I do not have the new 3G phone so I don't know.

I could put the pccard sim card in the (unlocked) iphone and it worked fine. If you activate voice on the pccard plan, you have both. !
If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving
