Default [iPhone 3G] US (AT&T) Pricing Plans released

    Take from iclarified and engadget.com
    http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1443
AT&T has announced the pricing and plans for the upcoming Apple 3G iPhone, according to Engadget.

iPhone 3G will be available for $199 (8GB) and $299 (16GB) for iPhone customers who purchased an iPhone prior to 7/11, customers activating a new line with AT&T and current AT&T customers who are eligible for an upgrade

Existing AT&T customers who are not currently eligible for an upgrade discount can purchase iPhone 3G for $399 for the 8GB model or $499 for the 16GB model. Both options require a new two-year service agreement.

A no-commitment version of the iPhone will be available for $599 and $699; however, this version may not be available on July 11th launch.

Engadget has organized and posted the iPhone plan details as shown below!

so if we have an iPhone the upgrade is 199 and 299? Do we need to give them this 1? Also does that mean I dont have to renew my contract I'm store?

    That actually seems pretty fair.

I paid $599 for an original 8Gb model last July.

Assuming the Apple store will also sell and non-contract version, I can get the new phone for the same price I paid for the old one.

Seems to be a good comprimise...

I got AT&T in Feb w/ family plan.

Added the iPhone in for $30 a month and bought the iPhone for $400.

Now they want me to EXTEND the contract another 2 whole years AND make me pay $200 more and $10 more for data and $5 more for text?????????

    IS FCUKING AT&T INSANE!!!!!!!!!

and I already sold my damn 2g iPhone.

    This is getting ridiculous.

You have the option to purchase an early upgrade priced at $399 for 8GB (black) or $499 for 16GB (black or white). Two-year contract required. Coming soon, AT&T will offer a no-commitment option of $599 for 8GB and $699 for 16GB.
