No, im not a apple guy, but i have my connections inside That told me some apple guy... And that's the main reason why Quickpwn, Pwn and all its flavors suddenly crash device and u had to restore so many times (no signal, lock up, no wifi, u have to restore original firmware and do pwn...) bcoz HW isnt fully-ready to combat agaisnt that ciphering. They told the iphone 3G was intended to stop hackers for some time while they prepare a new iphone version. So iPhone 3G is fully loaded with bugs... they know iPhone 3G is worse than 1st iPhone.

Just receive some data from apple guys is not too bad, just a lil step up.. So im just goin to do a lil contribution to this forum.

Look for "GSX" (internal apple iphone diagnostic application)

I guess my observation after we made a jailbreak with Quickpwn or Pwnage we dont get signel, but when u tried to use x-sim or yessim chips they can by_pass the signal restriction right? Therefore all iphones that were made a contract for 2 years has been monitord by IMEI = NCK + MCCN can be also manipulated by changing the last 5 digits like Nokia DCT4 did.Once the phone IMEI is not recognize by the itunes it will show up that ur mobile device is not registered, therefore lock or unlock is almost the same Its just a matter of breaking away from the service registered IMEI that itunes is control over the market in the states I hope somebody can get my point

That's because you're talking gibberish, and saying "that's why pwnage crashed phones etc". That's not true, for starters. And you're not saying anything interesting. Plus, you're not acting like someone who's 26 years old.

Thanks to all. Im still trying my own way to find out something.
Now trying to dump the OS disk before and after the activation of the unlocked phone. This is much more risky than dumping the nor.

Anyone who has experience on dumping the nand pls contact and give me a hand.

alright, im a newb too at iphones but here locally what people are doing is that they are using 3gs with turbo sim and running those phones on t-mobile or any other carrier. I also tried one and it seems to work just fine. What do you guys have to say about turbo sim? Will attaching a turbo sim 3g iphone running on t-mobile will also get locked by itunes?
