Default [iPhone 3G ToS] 30-Day Cancellation Policy

Does this mean that if I cancel my service after 3 days but before 30 days and can keep the phone(s) and not pay the early termination fee.

I think you have to cancel on day 30 and pay ETF to keep the phone.. Otherwise the phone must be returned.

This is actually an interesting question...

In this thread, this guy was able to cancel in the 3rd day, with no activation fee or ETF. he only paid 200 for the phone itself.

I think you could, but I recommend you cancel it early so that they couldn't charge you for the 2nd month.

Because I try to cancel my contract over the phone and the rep said no... I must return the iPhone 3G at AT&T Corp. Store or Apple Store even if you brought it at the Apple Store. The rep said if you want to keep the phone now and don't want to return it you must paid approx $300 which include the Activation fee $36 + 69.99 1st month (including tax too) + 175 Early Termination Fee... even thought the ToS said the ETF would be waive if you cancel within 30-day... Which make AT&T suck... even thought other Telecommunication are like that too.. but AT&T still suck... There 3G is not even max.. I think they put a cap on it or something... it still like Edge speed... try watching YouTube on 3G it so... fuzzy with pixel and blurry unlike the WiFi which is so crystal clear when you watch YouTube on iPhone.... Anyhow I hope that Bill pass one day where Telecommunication can not do 2 year or even 1 year contract anymore and the cell phone is not exclusive to one carrier...
