I think the first thing rogers will tell you is : You are so fucking stupid to have lost that phone loll.

And then tell you that if you want to buy a new one, It's gonna be full price (630$for the 8gb or 730$ for the 16GB)

So I hope you didn't lost your cuz you are fucked...

(they wont block your IMEI, so go ahead and "lose" it.)

I was thinking this exact same thing..

What if my friend in AT&T USA, says he lost his phone?... and sends it to me.
Would he be able to buy a 2nd phone for 200$?...

Is that Rogers or AT&T? CAD or USD? Sounds like if you lose yours in Canada it's cheaper to drive down and pick another one up full price in America.

just tell em you lost it, instead of telling them it's cracked-if you don't want to send it back. even if it's cracked you can still u se it. just cover it up with invisibleshield, or snap-on shell like the contour matte ruggedized hard case. if you are going to use invislbleshield, you might have a hard time snapping on a shell bc the shells are really snug to iphone. i've tried, had to take off invisibleshield so i can snap on the shell.

    lol. sure i do.
I've reported my phone lost before when it got stolen.
    what they did was this.
they asked all my info and verfied me...blah blah blah..
    then they suspended my account.
then they blocked my SIM card.
    thats it.
so then i asked if they can block my IMEI (some carriers do this for you)
they said they cant do that, so i demanded to speak with their supervisor, and he said that Rogers does not block IMEI's unless required by the law.

so i say again, go ahead and "lose" it.
make sure you know where it is at all times so you dont get it "stolen".
    =]
