I'm curious, has any existing AT&T subscribers returned their iPhone and gone back to their old phone and data plan? If so, did you have to prove to AT&T that you returned the phone when switcing back to your old plan? I'm probably returning my phone due to the excessive dropped calls I'm getting, and they say they should be able to switch me back to my old grandfathered plan.. but I'm thinking I'd like to keep the phone instead of returning it and just hold onto it until they come out with a firmware update to fix the dropped call issue. I know I can just simply put the sim in my old phone, but I'd rather go back to my old plan since it was $30 cheaper and gave me more. I'm just curious if I have to prove I returned the phone before they'll switch my plan back or not.
