Interesting! Does "NATEL easy liberty uno - Without subscription. Total control" means that it will be unlocked or it will be locked with pay as you go? It looks like Sitzerland will sell the more phones than any other country with this price of "Total control"ed phone

Just wanted to post it for those not knowing it ;-)
Will be interesting to find out if they sell it to non-citizens. cause switzerland is not in the EU, the law that will make UK-stores have to sell pay as you go iPhones at least to Europeans won't work here.
Reading the pricing's information it states that all offers need to sign a 24 month contract. They might fix that to a Swiss bank account. It's seems not to be an offer with a prepaid card, but monthly charges based on phone calls you made.
[EDIT:] They they call liberty uno a pre paid tarif, so there might be hope [END EDIT]
just my 2 cent

Law requires registration of prepaid cards
One more info from swisscom on prepaid
---
The Swiss parliament has enacted into law a registration requirement for all users of prepaid SIM cards. The law also requires mobile phone operators to provide their prepaid customers with information regarding these regulations. Therefore, since 1 July 2004 all customers who purchase a prepaid card from Swisscom must register with Swisscom
Please note the following
You must register in person.
You will be required to present a valid passport or ID card at the post office or Swisscom sales store at which you register.
Registration is free of charge.

It is same in Germany and Turkey, you are asked for valid Passport or ID but you don't have limits of how many you can buy, just need to register this is because of security reasons not having activated a bomb with anonimous card

I've never been so happy of living in switz...519 chf means you can unlock it (if an exploit will be found), use it with a cheaper carrier and still get your warranty as soon as you need it, something I couldn't do with the iPhone I had before, which came from NY (NY-Lausanne is not that short trip unfortunately
)
-
...i forgot: 519 chf was the price of buying the old one in the US...but you had to subscribe a contract! God bless Switzerland
