[EDIT]Well the free available and apple unlocked are about 500 Euros (635 US$) fpr the 8GB version, and 580 for 16 GB (740 US$). dont know if this are the figures you are looking for.[/EDIT]

I don't believe there is a wholesale price. Only Apple and specially contracted vendors actually sell the iPhone, everyone else pays retail.
