[Advice] iPhone 3G inside the box picture

Well, thse black covers I remmber were avaialble in hongkong for current phones starting from around 2$. They repalced the entire aluminum cover of the iphone back.
The white plastic backs were also avialble covers from hongkong, I remember I saw them a while back on eBay.. lol
Either the iPhone 3G will not look diffrent OR it will look real diffrent (maybe more like the touch?) who knows, we will at least know exactly in a few days.

no offence to tobias wong but i'm glad/hope the 2nd gen doesnt look like that, it'd just make the iPhone look cheaper, i'd rather have a metal back, it means you can throw the phone harder

the MacBook logo does not glow in the dark. it lights up with the back light of the screen.

The definition of glow is this:

To shine brightly and steadily, especially without a flame

So, yeah, it glows in dark but it also is shining with the backlight of the screen... either way its good

Hello everyone,

I have found this website with a picture of the iPhone inside the boxes that some Australian received few days ago.

I was wondering what could be the green icon. We can regnonize the "Preferences" icon and upper a green icon. I don't think it is SMS or a MMS application but I don't know what it is!

Edit : we also can notice that this iPhone COULD be white. Maybe it is something with the picture's quality but it looks white to me!
Translation of the text : "What wee know : there will be three colors, GPS inside, and different models. Apple wants the iPhone to be a massive useefull object like the iPod. The prices may surprise more than one!"

So...the box is from Australia, but the forum post is in french.

...and if the guy is going to break the NDA (for which he would undoubtedly be hunted down) then why not go all the way and show us the whole thing?

Sorry, but this is nothing more than wishful thinking and a person too lazy to photoshop the whole front of the box. (what, you thought the NDA covering the box was a mistake?)

The forum is in french because they just related the news. These boxes are already known from others sources (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles...n_warning.html)
So the fact that this is a french forum who tells the story has nothing to do here!

He didn't show everythink because by only showing this picture he could be out of trouble (can apple find anything on this simple picture than by showing the whole phone and OS?)
