Help! My phone is on permanent mute. I can hear everyone but nobody can hear me? Is there some hidden mute button somewhere? What could cause this?

same thing happened to me! here is how to fix it. Take your headphones and put them in and pull them out until the problem is resolved! what happens is the iphone thinks the headphones are still in them so it wants to use the headset mic instead of the regular mic. Tell me if it works!
