hey man .. i used to have the same problem and tried everythng from reinstalling iTunes and deleteing all files etc .. the solution that worked was to sync with another iTunes in a total different PC ull lose data but ull be able to sync again with the desired Pc as the prob seems to be in the iphone syc files not the pc

I get this error also: "iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try later"
Ive tried uninstalling/reinstalling itunes a million times, rolled back to an earlier version etc and no go.
My problem seems to be that as my laptop has a network drive which is offline atm (as I am away from my primary work network) the syncserver.exe cannot connect and I am unable to sync any data to my iphone 3G running v2.2 firmware.
When I change my login to a different user on my pc that doesnt have a mapped network drive the syncserver seems to run fine as its not referring to an offline drive. Is there anyway to change where itunes looks for/installs the syncserver files?
At the moment they are routed through my offline folder in folders called:
M:\Windows\application data\Apple Computer\SyncServices\Local
and
M:\Windows\application data\Apple Computer\iTunes

By any chance are all of us running Installous.
If yes then apple have just garbed our balls and is squeezing.
I have a similar problem.
I find it funny that nobody wants to talk about hacked apps. But hacking the iphone and stealing phones by runing away from contracts is ok.

itunes was unable to load provider data from sync services
yesssss, so I finally I have it work!!! yessssssssssssss
so I have windows 7, 64 bits n iphone, the error message said itunes was unable to load provider data from sync services itunes 9 bla bla bla
soo this is what I did..and yes it worked!!!!
So I figured out how to use iTunes 64 on Windows 7 64-bit not sure if there is another posting with this info but I thought I would share mine.
First download iTunes 64bit from
TechSpot - PC Technology News and Analysis (download and save the file do not install yet)
Then download Orca and install it from
Orca Download - Softpedia
Then download 7z and install it from
Download 7-Zip from SourceForge.net
Right click on the iTunes file and select 7z and extract to its own directory
Navigate to the folder and right click on the iTunes64 file and click edit with Orca
Under 'LaunchCondition' double click the VersionNT64>=600 and change it to 501
Exit and save.
Launch iTunes64 and it should be golden.
Mail me if you have any questions or comments.
Hope it works for all
