I'm curious about performances of FW 2.x.x on iPhone 2G and 3G.

Is any difference in performances of Mac OS on iphone 2G and 3G?
I mean, FW 2.x works a little slowly on iPhone 2G, But can 3G handle it better?
(I always thought the answer is NO! because their effective hardware on this issue is pretty much the same!)

I'm wondering this same question. I'm currently on T-Mobile, and have the opportunity to join AT&T for the same monthly price. So basically, iPhone 2G on TMobile vs iPhone 3G on AT&T. Same monthly price.

The reason I'm hesitating is because I don't like FW 2 on my 2G phone. It's slow compared to 1.1.4. I've tried to keep my phone as "stock" as possible, but have found that 1.1.4 is just faster. And handles audiobooks better.

Is FW 2 better on 3G iPhone? Anyone have experience using both?
