iPhone 3G Custom DNS settings for 3G/EDGE?

Hello,

Having heck of a time trying to find the location to set custom OPEN DNS server settings for the 3G service of my iPhone.

Anyone know a method of doing this? I tried adding them to the resolv.conf file, no go.

Sure, this is great. But $9.00 for an App? Errr...that's a bit steep.

Any other options? I just need to know where the DNS settings are set in the OS and I can change them myself.

I have not followed the problem since firmware 1.1.3/1.1.4. Maybe you want to check the thread here

I am not sure what's working out of the solution in fw 2.
