[iPhone 3G] Current AT&T Users..
I current have a contract w/ AT&T. Its the official iPhone contract.
I sold my iPhone last week.
Now when the new iPhone comes out...
A. Will I have to extend my contract and additional two-years?
B. Upgrade my current $20 Plan to $30? Because it says $20 unlimited data does not specify 3G..
C. Any other info regarding current iPhone customers?
Thanks.

Found this on macrumors..
Update: Arstechnica was able to speak to an AT&T representative who claims that if existing iPhone owners buy an iPhone 3G, the new 2 year contract replaces the current contract rather than extending it.

So in other words, yes, you will have to upgrade to $30, etc.

Here is what ATT said: any customer buying an iPhone from May 29 till now (which is no one cause Apple was not selling them), can upgrade free to the 3G. Those who upgrade, will not be signing a new two year contract. Those who buy a new iPhone will sign and extend their contract with att.
Data will 30 a month instead of 20

Here are the facts:
- Apple has records of which iPhones have been activated through AT&T. They can bring up this information based on your serial number or phone number
AT THE STORE or OVER THE PHONE
