iPhone 3G is available @ Hong Kong Apple Store online

Hong Kong Apple store started selling iPhone 3G online yesterday.
No SIM lock, No Carrier Conract.

One online shops Kaimonotai already started shipping to Japan.

Though it seems they are Japanese based shop, you can write e-mail to
i n f o @ m a i l . i s l . h k in English.
Hope they can help you even if you are out of Hong Kong.

It wrecked me.. I just bought my locked US iPhone about 3weeks ago here in HK for $6380 HKD. If I'd just waited a couple more weeks ...

This is going to kill the the traders in Mong Kok who have stock of US phones.

no, that particular model is at the Apple online store and you need Hong Kong address.
At airport there maybe some hacked versions or with sim clip.
It seems Apple tries to limit spread of sim clips that disrupt cell networks in so many places but this is too late afraid plus as said you still need Hong Kong address if buying online

It does not have any apple stores in Hong kong like the have in the US but it has an authorized apple retail store. Here's the list of retail store

Does anyone know if the unlocked Hong Kong iPhones are unlocked for Hong Kong carriers or if they are completely unlocked for any carrier in any country?

Got a friend visiting Hong Kong and want to confirm this before asking for the favor....
