Default [iPhone 3G] apple store capabilities

    Hey,

Let me throw a little scenario out there.... Say that i went to the apple store 3 days ago and bought a White 16GB iPhone 3G with the 450 min $69.99 no texting plan. What if I wanted to go back to the apple store change my plan to the 900 min Family plan and add a line so I can get another iPhone. Would they be able to alter my current plan such as upgrading it to a family plan and adding a new line and phone and what not at the apple store? Or would I have to go to AT&T to do that. I have called the apple store and there so called "Apple Geniuses" told me I could do that in there store. But apple employees never seem that knowledgeable to me so I'm asking you guys. Thanks

Yes, I directly contacted AT&T I even went to the store. They said they have no idea what apple was capable of doing since they don't know what kind of system and such that they are running down there.

Yeah, all apple has are "portable" versions of what att has in their stores... the only difference I would assume is the training and knowledge of how to do it... (thus going into an att store would be the best way to go about it.) It's all one one intertwined crock.
