Just found out that 2.0.2 is out and can be updated by iTunes. Share your experience here.

I am not going to update since 2.0.1 updated the firmware but if you are updating then please come back to tell the rest what you are finding and how your experience has been.

To add to that, check out tuaw.com to see all of their comments.

Alot are saying improved contacts speed, snapier app transitions, and 3G increase.

But I wouldn't know first hand nor will I until the thumbs up by the devteam

My findings are, that it switches really quick between 3g and 2g now!
Everything seems to be quicker than in 2.0.1.
Adressbook and SMS of course! The reception itself did not improve with this update but now it switches really quick if you don't have 3g signal.

btw you can jailbreak 2.0.2 using quickpwn..

So if you don't care about an unlock -> go for it

Well I have now an official iPhone 3G and I have to admit, the first day has been a good one

In my area I have full 3G coverage throughout the region I was traveling today and as a test I also had the GPS on and track my movements and it kept up very nicely with the map in hybrid view updating as I was driving around.

Maybe the 3G issues are just related to AT&T being a crappy carrier?

I also like the new sound system as it's really a great improvement, the phone can now be used as a nice audio device. The only thing missing now is the official AppStore in my country ... MOVE YOUR ASS APPLE

Anyway ... Just wanted to say that after 10 months of illegal use of a hacked device I am glad to finally have an official device with warranty and so on
