Im just looking for information
(before anything i want to apologize for my english, sorry if i make mistakes)
A friend of mine gives me an iPhone 3g with the baseband problem after he update the iPhone with iOS 4.1.
This are my specs:
bootloader: 6.2
BaseBand: 05.14.02
iOS: 4.1
Model: MB702
(actually jailbroken with snowbreeze 2.0.2, but locked)
This are my questions:
will the phone unlock the menu if insert an at&t sim?
will fuzzyband work with this specs to downgrade the baseband?
if not im afraid to wait for the release at aproximely mid-november?
thanks in advance

Maybe - depends you have not specified which country the iPhone came from.

No, this will never work for that baseband bootloader version.

The ultrasn0w update that will likely be released a few days after iOS 4.2 is released should unlock your iPhone. Do not install 4.2 - wait for this ultrasn0w update and load it on 4.1
Backup your 4.1 SHSH now.
