    I heard that the greek 3g iPhones are unlocked.
    Anonyone of you guys know the price for the 16GB version?

    As far as i understand they are unlocked but you have to sign a contract. same situation as in hong Kong.

    The only factory unlocked without any contract seem to be sold in Belgium and Italy

    Anyone know were I can find a carier .bindle for one of these unlocked phones. Be it Belgium or Italy.

    I know I read that the carier .bundles are not the anwer but I just want to poke and prod it myself. Whats the worst that can happen?

    Ok I found an italy carrier bundle its a bianry can someone with an unlocked italy phone verify that this is the right bundle? its TIM_Italy.ipcc

    I found it on apples server. Im not sure if I can post a link here.

    Nevermind. I researched what the carier bundles actualy do and what I was thinking will never work......

    No problem. the carrier bundles just make sure that - once you are unlocked or on a legit contract - the iPhone settings for using your carrier's options are set properly.

    yes when u enter itunes it download correct carrier settings for you
