Hi, was wondering if anyone could help.

I have an Iphone 3g 8gb, i brought it from a friend which he had as a replacement from apple. The phone worked perfectly fine but after jailbreaking and unlocking it, it doesnt allow me to make outgoing calls or receive incoming. I am however able to use the data side of things no problem.

I looked up about blacklisting and it said through tmobile, that it will show service, yet will not make outgoing or incoming calls.

Is there any way of checking whether the phone has been blacklisted, via a database online or the like?

any help would be appreciated.

have you unlocked it with ultrasn0w?

When you say the data side works, you mean WiFi I assume or are you talking about 3G/EDGE working but calls not working (which sounds very unlikely)

I wish the US did blacklisting.........
