I have no tray, I have no sim card.
I restored my iPhone earlier today by mistake, completely forgetting about the whole “activation” nonsense and now my phone is completely locked up.
I’ve tried the new version of Quickpwn (and 2) but the program isn’t accepting any of the firmwares.
I don’t know if It’s any help, but-
I’ve tried each of these;

I’m running:
ITunes 8
Firmware- I think it’s a 3.0
IPhone 3g


I have also tried black ra1n and nothing- I'm stuck at the usb & itunes logo and never see the picture of 'geohot'.
redsn0w hasn't helped as well, although I don't believe thats supposed to activate the phone.
I would really appreciate any help, I've been at this all day.

Quickpwn has not existed for a long time! Do not use anything claiming to be a 'new' quickpwn.
It was replaced by RedSn0w which does hactivate. 0.96b6 will JB and hactivate.

hmm, really? I got it off of theiphoneproject.org.

Is 0.96b6 a firmware or a version of redsn0w, I cant seem to find either.

well, i found the program and my phone is now activated, but the screen keeps flickering white.
any idea how to fix this?

Different problem (assuming you jailbroke correctly with redsn0w). Probably hardware. Search around to see if someone had similar problems, if not then start a new thread.
