Used blackrain a while back on 3g running os 3.1.2 worked great and many thanks to geohot for that. However, recently I have found that iTunes is showing me a number of app updates available. When I select install updates I just keep getting message that I have to buy the original app first? Any help with this? Have I missed a step? Sorry if this is a repeat thread, searched threads first and could find nothing related to this issue. thanks in advance for any help with this matter. New to the iPhone

Did you actually buy the apps? No support for app piracy here.

Try logging out and back in again with your Itunes credentials - you can do this on the phone directly in the Appstore app.
