Hello,

I need help please, I have an iPhone 3G, was happy on 3.0 till I upgraded to 3.1.3 using sn0wbreeze, then ran blackra1n, the phone then wouldnt boot and was stuck on the snowflake.

In desperation I had to install the official 3.1.3 using itunes, which now gives me an iphone which says insert a SIM from AT&T (I live in the UAE and dont have this), it doesnt go to any other screen apart from the SIM insert screen and the emergency screen.

I tried downgrading to 3.1.2, but it wont allow me, tried to go to custom 3.1.3 using sn0wbreeze, but even that either gives me a 1600, 01 or 04 error, have tried in DFU and recovery mode.

HELP!!!!!

sn0wbreeze is not supported in this forum. It is not recommended at all.

If you have a 3G (and not a 3GS) then you should be able to downgrade.
Also try running redsn0w iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3G on OS 3.1.2 Using RedSn0w (Windows) - it will jailbreak 3.1.3 (you need to use 3.1.2 IPSW - yes I know it is confusing but it works)
