Help! iPhone 3G stuck on progress bar.
I have an iPhone 3G. The power button is broken and does not work at all.
It is on 4.1, while doing an "update/restore" thru itunes to wipe the device, the loose USB cable came unplugged and it was during the "wating for iphone" step, where there is an Apple logo and progress bar for the flash.
I plugged it back in, and nothing happens, iTunes doesn't even recognize that I have an iPhone on there. The weird thing is that when I close iTunes and plug in the phone, iTunes opesn back up, so something is recognizing iTunes Helper, but no iPhone shows up on iTunes, like it's not even connected.
Since I have no power button I can't try to hold it + home or do anything like that, holding home has done nothing. I've tried to put it in recovery with iREB and RecBoot and it does nothing. I also ran Blackra1n, hoping it would at least be able to put it in recovery (even though it won't JB a 4.1 IPSW).
I just need to get the damn thing back in recovery so i can use a decent cable to restore the thing. Any help would be really appreciate on this.

http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/130802.htm log files are always useful.
Removing the USB during restore can permanently damage the iPhone. Try and force the iPhone to go flat and then put it into recovery mode (hold down home and plug in USB connection)
