Help with booting my iphone 3g PLEASEEE
Hi guys,
A friend gave me his iphone when he recieved an upgrade and i am trying to get working!
The phone is stuck in recovery mode,
When i try to restore to normal ipsw i get error 1015.
I have used recboot, irecovery, ireb, tiny umbrella, blackra1n, and redsn0w to try and get it out of recovery and nothing has worked.
I used quickpwn to create my own ipsw and a few other custom ones online but get no luck.
When everyone elses seems to go to the emergency screen mine doesnt boot and when turned on again it returns to the recovery screen or stays on the caricature picture of Steve Jobs with his hands in the air.
Ive tried redsn0w to put in dfu mode, then run cydia, then boot tethered but nothing works.
Ive tried basically every guide online with no luck.
Can anybody help me?
If you can id really really appreciate it,
Its an iphone 3g and according to tiny umbrella its on 4.1.2 with a baseband 06.15.00
Thanks so much in advance i just want to get it working but im so close to binning it!
Steve

Cheers for the reply mate,
I tried that too but no luck at all,
Just straight back into recovery mode.
Could it be a hardware issue?
Cheers

The custom IPSW must have no baseband update.
Publish your restore log (there is a link explaining how at the end of every post I make) and we might be able to better help you.
