I'm looking to buy an iPhone 3G so need some advice.

If I order online from O2, will I be able to select the tarrif and activate the phone at home or do I have to select a package online and sign up from. My friend who has an old iPhone told me he bought the old iPhone from the shop and brought it at home to activate it.

Can this be done at home?

Did you check O2 website. Maybe the answer is there. Also, you can call them directly to ask.
