i'm trying to jailbreak my iphone 3g 3.1.3 and every possible thing that could go wrong has gone wrong. i tried sn0wbreeze and when i try to restore it gives me error 16xx and ireb doesnt put in a white screen on it in order to bypass it. i've tried one solution where u use recovery mode and press iphone 3g on ireb as soon as itunes says preparing iphone- nothing. i've also tried redsn0w 0.9.4 and i've hit a roadblock at the first step. its is unable to recognize specified ipsw. and yes i'm selecting a 3.1.2 ipsw not a 3.1.3. can anyone suggest something i havent tried please..

For redsn0w: Do you have the right ipsw? not just a 3.1.2 but it also must be an unmodified IPSW (not the IPSW that sn0wbreeze makes) and it also must be for a 3G - that means the filename begins with iPhone1,2
