Error after updating Iphone 3g from 4.1 to 4.2.1 ?
hello people today i tried to update my iphone 3g from 4.1 to 4.2.1
but after the updating process i got 1005 error...
so i downloaded recboot v1.2 and i started recboot v1.2 with admin rights then i clicked
exit recovery mode...
now my iphone is stucked on apple logo and it reboots and then the apple logo appears again...
can anyone help me?
Restore again, hold home + power buttons until you get into recovery mode, and restore again.
Btw, are you restoring to a custom IPSW?
no i just downloaded the ios 4.2.1 for my 3g from felixburn website..
Are you sure you didn't get a 1015 error?

If this is the case, then you can probably use the latest TinyUmbrella to fix this.

- Get in Recovery mode (press both buttons until you get to iTunes+cable)
- Download TinyUmbrella (thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com)
- Use TU and click "Kick out of Recovery"
If it doesn't work just by doing that, post here the results.
