DUAL SIM adaptor for iPhone 3Gs in the market, Good or Not ?

Sorry I am not good at these new gadgets but would like to know if the DUAL SIM adaptor for iPhone 3Gs realy works as they are advertising. I have urgent need to use my 2nd SIMCARD for my trip but cannot find any feedback on this forum about this new product.

Somebody please post feedback if have tested it

Which type are you looking at? The ones where you cut your existing SIM card, or the type that is an extra battery that offers a dual sim function?

Either type, the way they work is that can switch between the SIM cards on the phone by going to Settings -> Phone option-> SIM Applications.

You do not have to restart your iPhone at all. Only one SIM is active at a time, so you will not recieve calls on the SIM that is not currently active.

Also, probably obvious but you need to be unlocked (software or legitimately) to use SIMs from different carriers.

Do NOT Start cutting your network SIMCARD if you are not sure if they will work..

The worst hell that can happen to your iPhone is cutting your SIMCARDS and finding out you can`t use the dual sim kit because of they don`t support 3G.

I don`t think it will work with 4.0.. Already confirmed 4.0 is coming with mini SIM slot and the shape not same with 3G..
