It's the easiest way. There are programs out that will help, but jailbreaking will make it as easy as using an AFC app (iFunBox, iPhoneBrowser, DiskAid) to pull the files off and then have a program rename them based on their tags (as mp3 files will be named with internal names like 4FC2.MP3)
