hey guys.

i did an update from 3.1.2 from itunes. to the newest 4 software. it backed up everything fine, and rebooted. and its been at the apple logo and progess bar on the bottom.

it hasnt even moved to 1 percent or anything, ive rebooted a couple of times to restart, and been messing with this all day.

its an 8g 3g model.

if anyone can help me fix this, i will reward them with some paypal.

Try this:
-Connect to the computer;
-Hold home+power button until the phone turns off, then keep holding the home button, it will automatically turn on;
-When you see a cable+iTunes icon on the screen, release the Home button.

At this point iTunes will probably pop up asking to restore, if it doesn't, launch it. Restore again and you should be fine.

how can i access that? it actually went to about 20 percent this time and its not moving. in itunes it says its restoring your software, and ive tried a couple differnt computers
