[corrupted BB] Baseband rewrite
Is there a way to rewrite the current baseband on an iphone ? i've readed somewhere else that itunes restore process doesn't rewrite the bb unless it is for an upgrade.
I have greyed wifi and no signal bars after unlocking, so i think my bb is corrupted.
Edit: iphone model "3G", Baseband 5.11.07, bootloader 5.09.

Well, i'm having the same issue (plus greyed wifi) in this trys:
- Applied a custome firmware with mobileterminal already installed; transfered blacksn0w.deb with iFunBox; installed with dpkg -i blacksn0w.deb on terminal. Results: no signal bars and greyed wifi.
- Apply original 3.1.2 fw; jailbreaked using blackra1n rc3. Results: no signal bars and greyed wifi. (at this point i don't know if blacksn0w is installed via blackra1n)
So my conclusion is that my bb is corrupted and i need a way to rewrite it.
Edit: iphone model "3G", Baseband 5.11.07, bootloader 5.09.

What kind of error do you receive that makes you think that this is a baseband problem?
There is very little you can do to fix baseband problems on a 3G. Baseband is upgrade only on the 3G and 3GS. It is not possible to reflash the same version or downgrade the baseband.
I see from another thread that you have baseband bootloader 5.09.

I have moved this to the same thread, your problem is not the same as the thread you posted in. You have no carrier plus grey wifi.
When you restore an original Apple IPSW, do you get any errors? Can you post the restore log on pastebin.com? Also can you enable syslog (there is a sbsettings toggle for this) and restart the phone then grab the syslog and post that.

The errors are:
- No signal bars for the phone (also no carrier name)
- On reboot wifi is greyed some times, other times appears available, i know it sounds mysterious and little consistent. When wifi is available it gets disconnected from any network i try to connect after several seconds
- In settings->general->information->mac address appears n/a when wifi is greyed, and the mac address appears when don't.
- In settings->general->information i can see the iccid of the sim. Operator and network are unavailable.
I hope that there is a way to trick itunes to make it rewrite the baseband.

There is no errors when restoring an original IPSW, the itunes restore log is here. I'll try to show the syslog tomorrow, because this is the iphone of a friend of mine and i don't have it right now.

Once you get the syslog, look at:
Wifi Problems - The iPhone Wiki
for information on how to identify if you have the apple wifi/blacksn0w race condition.
